Soul Matters

Here’s an introduction to the wonderful Soul Matters, from Richard Jones, their founder and leader:

I am a local musician & music teacher, and I formed Soul Matters in 1997. The band was originally set up for students accessing Solihull Music Service, but has developed into a much sought after professional band, supported by its educational feeder band.

The band performs a large ranging repertoire from 60’s soul music to present day……something for everyone! Soul Matters has performed at a wide range of venues from the Cavern Club, NEC, Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, Birmingham Town Hall and the 02 Academy to name a few.

The band is very much looking forward to performing at the Hampton-in-Arden Ball on New Year’s Eve. We aim to get everyone up dancing and to make it a night to remember!

More information and pictures will follow leading up to New Year’s Eve.
