Cameron Grant Memorial Trust

Suicide rates amongst teenagers have almost doubled in the last eight years, with 15-19-year-olds the most at risk. We want to help make sure that young people know where they can get help for their mental health.

The Cameron Grant Memorial Trust was established in memory of our son, Cameron, who took his life on 14 November 2014, aged 21. Cameron suffered with depression for seven years, something he kept hidden from his family and friends. We believe in the preservation and protection of good mental health in young people by raising awareness of young suicide, urging people to talk more openly about their mental health and pointing people in the right direction towards help and support.

Many thanks to all who took part in our awareness campaign in all three McDonald’s Restaurants in Rugby from 7th– 17th Feb. Our goal was to get everyone talking about mental health, and to highlight helplines and other resources available to all in Rugby. For more information about the awareness campaign, including help available in Rugby, see our campaign page here.

If you have any feedback or comment or would be interested in working with us on a similar campaign, please email us at cafe@camgrant.org.uk.
