Hampton to Amsterdam Charity Ride

HiAMS was our Charity Bike Ride from Hampton-in-Arden (where we live, and where Cameron was born) to Amsterdam (where Cameron’s brother Alastair lives) from 16-19 May 2025. Alastair and I completed the ride alongside 30 others. Very many thanks to all who took part and made this ride so enjoyable and fulfilling, and to all who have donated to our Ride Appeal. We are closing in on our £50,000 target and would be extremely grateful for any donations at the Appeal page www.totalgiving.co.uk/appeal/hiams or on the fundraising pages of any of the riders. Thanks!

Thanks also to Red Fox Cycling who organised our ride so well, to our partners The Hampton Health & Fitness Club and to the following organisations who sponsored us: Carter Thermal Industries, Living Well UK, Wyckham Blackwell, MacDonald SurfacingSpray Tanker Services, Pertemps Network Group, HOLCIM, mode transportDavid Wilson Homes, I am Emma Robinson, Red Kite Cycles, CJServices, Gymshark, A1 Gas Force and Letting a Property. We could not have done this without you!

Our route from Hampton had overnight stops in Corby and Cambridge en route to Harwich and the overnight ferry to the Hook of Holland. We finished in the heart of Amsterdam on the afternoon of Monday 19 May. We covered 350 miles (400km) over 4 days; for the details of our route see HiAMS Cycle Route.
